The paper offers an overview of the most common contemporary biological methods for remediation of contaminated soils, which are characterized by low costs and practical usability on the industrial level. The described methods allow getting economic benefits several times greater than the effect of standard physicochemical methods with relatively low investment, while being environmentally safe. The focus is on the possibility to double economic effects – by reducing purification technology costs, as well as due to additional environmental effects and the possibility to stimulate soil self-recovery.uk_UA
