dc.description.abstractThis paper raises the theoretical issues of innovation, so important for business practice. The main aim of the paper is to systematise the sources and determinants of innovation at companies, and to outline the role information plays in these processes. The authors discuss four basic categories of innovations: product, process, marketing and the organizational ones.
