Abstract
the potato market in Ukraine is analysed in the article, its problems and prospect are highlighted. Eco-socio-economic aspects of cultivation of potatos by the methods of natural agriculture are proved, its advantages are defined. The forecast of consumption of traditional potatos per 1 person per year for 2014-2015 is presented, what has allowed to define the need for ecologically safe potatos. Directions of increasing the volumes of cultivation of potatos by methods of natural farming are offered.
