Abstract
An important role in increasing the yield and improving the quality of corn grain is played by the correct selection of hybrids for cultivation. According to the conclusions of domestic scientists, in the coming years, the entire global increase in crop production will be achieved due to selection, that is, new varieties and hybrids, their useful properties and quality indicators.
